This CTC Training Level 5 leadership and management diploma is a knowledge element of the Higher Apprenticeship in Management. It is suitable for managers in a wide range of occupations and sectors and gives them the opportunity to demonstrate management skills.
The course will require approximately 390 hours of study time, including 194 guided learning hours of contact time, guidance or supervision with a lecturer, supervisor, tutor, trainer or other appropriate provider of education or training.
This Level 5 diploma is open to learners aged 18 and above with a minimum of Level 2 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent, although this can be self-certified. No other specific skills, experience or qualifications are required, although it is particularly suitable for those currently in a middle management role.
Once successfully completed, this course will enable learners to progress to other valuable qualifications, including the NVQ Level 5 Leadership and Management diploma.

Who is the Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership for?
TQUK’s Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership is aimed at those currently in middle management who want to progress into a leadership position. You do not need to be working in any particular sector, as the course is all about developing the skills needed to lead and manage individuals and teams, develop strategic plans and manage strategic change. However, you will need to be in or working towards a management role to provide evidence of your competencies.
