What is the Level 4 Award in Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF)?

This award is the most basic of the three IQA qualifications. It isn’t sufficient to become a qualified internal quality assurer, but it will provide you with the theory behind IQA and help you develop the knowledge required to carry out IQA successfully. This makes it ideal for managers who want to understand IQA before advancing to a higher level.

The course is composed of a single unit:

UNIT NO: 1 — Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment

The qualification takes approximately 60 hours to complete.

It is ideal for anyone looking to set up their own training organisation and lead the quality assurance process from within.
