Chris Turner
Founder and Managing Director
Having experience working in both public sector and large corporations, Chris had a vision to deliver high quality training to both organisations and individuals and founded CTC Training. Chris holds qualifications up to level 7 and has solid management experience and thousands of teaching hours in a range of settings – helping students throughout the world achieve their career goals.
Deborah Wooton
Trainer and Assessor
Deborah is a qualified teacher and life and career coach with many years experience. She has taught in schools, universities and in the private industry. She has studied human relationships, counselling, leadership, self-development and communication and neuro linguistics, she now loves to share her knowledge to help people transform their life and be the very best they can be. She has travelled and continues to do so whilst working experiencing many other cultures, which has fuelled her curiosity for interpersonal communication.
Her life has been dedicated to learning what makes humans tick. She has studied and researched extensively throughout her life and loves to share her findings. Her philosophy is to learn, test, analyse, improve and re-test, energising everyone she works with opening their minds to the myriad of possibilities within their reach. She has vast experience in counselling, teaching, mentoring, pastoral care, family liaison, tutoring, advising and coaching in the care industry, Education Sector and the corporate world.
Ian Prosser
Trainer and Assessor
I have been working within leisure for many years now in different roles from lifeguard, swimming teacher, duty manager, trainer and developing qualifications for awarding organisations. My last 2 years working for CTC delivering first aid and lifesaving qualifications for a variety of organisations.
The best part of my day is meeting individuals and helping them to achieve their goals no matter how big or small by sharing my knowledge, experience, passion and enthusiasm.
Away from work I enjoy coaching and playing rugby, open water swimming and cycling.
Angela Buick
Trainer and Assessor
Angela Buick has many years’ experience in both education and assessment. Educated to Master level, Angela has worked in Corporate and Further Education. More recent roles include Distance Learning Tutor, Assessor, Content Writer as well as a lead IQA for a range of courses with colleges in the UK. Angela is now an AET tutor at CTC
Tina
Administrator
Tina has been involved in the delivery of apprenticeships for 30 years and has a passion for supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals. She has worked with many organisations delivering training in many vocational areas offering alternative curriculum to students who have not found the school environment conducive.
Learning support of students with Dyslexia and autism has been a key part of her working life and she has
supported thousands of learners from many backgrounds to develop their skills and work towards positive outcomes.
Tina passionate about learning, and I enjoy being able to give guidance and support to our learners here at CTC
Andy Goold
Trainer and Assessor
I have been part of the team at CTC pretty much from the start. Mainly working within the Health and Safety, First Aid, and Lifesaving section. I also worked in the education and training team for a couple of years.
I have seen CTC progress and develop as time has passed. To me, the reason for this is obvious. CTC cares about everyone that it deals with. Corporate or individual, First Aid course or diploma it doesn’t matter. This is what separates CTC from the rest. This is also how I work. People are trusting me to teach them skills that they won’t only use at work, but often at home too. That responsibility and commitment to doing the best we can as an organisation and individual team members is what makes me happy to work.
Teaching and training are also about building relationships with your groups and learners. The trust that this builds between parties allows for greater understanding of what they are learning, and more confidence in themselves when using them.
To conclude, I really enjoy being part of the team here at CTC and hope to be here for a many years to come.
Kelly Morgan
Trainer and Assessor
Since achieving her ‘Postgraduate Certificate in Education’ at Newport University, Wales 2006 Kelly has worked as a Further Education and Distance Learning Tutor, Assessor and Internal Verifier in the Aesthetics, Essential/Key Skills, Education and Training Sectors
Most recent roles within E&T include Course Tutor of the ‘Diploma in Education and Training L5’ and at present Assessor of the ‘Award in Education and Training L3’ at CTC Training
Lisa Morris
Trainer and Assessor
Lisa has been working in education and training for over twenty years and is a qualified teacher, assessor, Lead IQA and Lead EQA. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors (CIEA). Having taught school aged children to adult learners in subjects such as Assessing, Education, Business, Management and Quality Assurance, Lisa is vastly experienced in delivering and assessing on our qualifications including the Level 3 Award in Education and Training, Level 3 Teaching Assistant and Level 4 HLTA.
She has taught and assessed in a range of schools and colleges and worked for a number of national training providers managing their quality teams in preparation for Ofsted inspections, having undertaken Ofsted inspector training herself. Lisa has also worked for an international awarding organisation, managing External Quality Assurance activities.
Kevin Bauer
Trainer and Assessor
Kevin has worked in Aviation Security for 27 years, working at Regional Airports and International Airports in the UK and the Middle East.
The last 19 years he has been involved in Training and Accessing New Trainee’s in Aviation Security Standards and Compliance.
Kevin has gained qualifications as a Certified UK Aviation instructor for the CAA and 2017 Certified Aviation Security Instructor for Qatar Civil Aviation Authority QCAA .
He is certified as a X-ray screening instructor within the Aviation Industry as well a RFX , “ Recognition of Firearms and Explosives”. Kevin’s passion is training, and enjoys delivering First Class Training to future students and enhancing their careers.
Lillian Alexander
Assessor Trainer
Lillian has worked within educational establishments for over 20 years and has a proven track record of leadership and management skills, in supporting and delivering the curriculums effectively. As an educational consultant, she has experience in developing businesses that require the day-to-day running of a centre and have provided staff training regarding any issues related to quality, target setting, assessment and maintaining the standards of teaching and learning throughout.
Her years of experience in teaching and assessing a wide range of qualifications includes delivering and quality assuring on Level 3 AET, Level 4 CET, and Level 5 DET courses, as well as CAVA, IQA, and recent EQA qualifications. Lillian’s delivery covers both classroom-based and remote learning environments, to ensure high-quality assessment and quality assurance processes are upheld to the highest standards.
In 2007, driven by a passion for empowerment and education, she developed and delivered
bespoke programs aimed at transforming the lives of women/single parents. These initiatives were designed to provide support and deliver essential skills that would support individuals in
excelling in education and securing meaningful employment opportunities. My role as an EQA is to ensure that training organisations consistently meet the qualification standards set by their Awarding Bodies.
Throughout her career, Lillian was one of the judges for the Learning Excellence Awards in 2023, this opportunity highlighted her dedication to education and commitment to recognising and celebrating the exceptional achievements of others in the field.
